New blog!

Hey everyone!  So, thanks to my cousin Michele I discovered this awesome online cooking club called "Tuesdays with Dorie."  Check it out if you're a baker--it's a great idea!  Each week (or two depending on how ambitious I'm feeling) I will try a different recipe from Dorie Greenspan's "Baking:  From My Home to Yours."  It's a great book that I've been baking from for years and I'm really looking forward to exploring it further.  

Check back every Tuesday for results from the different recipes.  I'm also going to post entries throughout the week about other things related to baking--recipes I love, reviews of new bakeries I try, etc.  I have tentatively titled this new blog "Linzer Tart" after my favorite cookie.  Let me know if you have any other ideas . . .
